Abstract:
Produced is a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet which is a plated steel sheet produced by using a high-strength steel sheet containing Si and Mn as a base material, and has no unplated portion and therefore has beautiful plating appearance and excellent plating adhesiveness. A method for producing a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, comprising recrystallizing and annealing a high-strength steel sheet containing specified amounts of Si and Mn, then immersing the steel sheet in a plating bath to achieve hot-dip galvanization, then adjusting the amount of deposits on the steel sheet that is pulled up from the plating bath, and then subjecting the steel sheet to an alloying treatment, wherein ultrasonic waves having frequencies of 10 kHz or more are applied for 0.010 to 0.500 second inclusive onto the steel sheet from an ultrasonic oscillation member that is in contact with molten zinc and is so configured that the distance from the steel sheet is adjusted to 0 to 30 mm inclusive during the period between the start of the immersion and the completion of the adjustment of the amount of the deposits, and the steel sheet that has been adjusted with respect to the amount of the deposits thereon is subjected to a plating layer alloying treatment for 10 seconds or longer.
