Abstract:
The present invention provides a high-strength steel plate for sour resistant line pipe having superior HIC resistance in a center segregation part and surface layer part. This high-strength steel plate for sour resistant line pipe is characterized by having a component composition that includes a prescribed amount of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Al, and Ca, with the remainder being Fe and inevitable impurities and in that the hydrogen diffusion coefficient at the center of plate thickness is 5.0 × 10-6 cm2/s or greater, the maximum Vickers harness HV0.1 at 0.5 mm beneath the steel plate surface is 250 or less, and the tensile strength is 520 MPa or greater.
