Abstract:
Output voltage is adjusted appropriately according to fluctuations in load, in a high-voltage power supply that does not use a transformer. The high-voltage power supply is provided with: a switching device; a voltage resonant circuit, consisting of an inductor and a capacitor, to which voltage is applied by driving a switching device; and a rectifying circuit, consisting of capacitors and diodes, which outputs high-voltage according to resonant actions by the voltage resonant circuit. The high-voltage power supply conducts switching according to the output from the rectifying circuit, and according to control signals that set-up the output voltage, and variably controls the driving frequency.
