Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a hinge assembly and a foldable electronic device. In the hinge assembly, a linear sliding groove and a sliding member are respectively provided on a supporting member and a swinging member, and two ends of the sliding groove in a sliding direction of the sliding member are closed ends. In this way, higher pair matching of a cylindrical pin and an arc track groove between the supporting member and a gear connecting rod is replaced with lower pair matching of the linear sliding groove and the sliding member between the supporting member and the swinging member, and the vacancy between the sliding groove and the sliding member is reduced, such that angle control precision for the supporting member is higher, and the supporting member moves in place in unfolded and folded states. When the two ends of the sliding groove are closed, and when the electronic device is in the unfolded state, the supporting member is lapped on an inner shaft of a main shaft mechanism, such that better flatness of a hinge assembly region is ensured when the electronic device is in the unfolded state. In addition, the swinging member is a passively stressed part, and has a smooth movement process. In this way, when the supporting member is attached to the swinging member, the movement of the supporting member is also smoother.
