Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a hollow-core photonic bandgap fiber comprising: a hollow core layer having a medium of air or vacuum; a micro-structured cladding layer including a plurality of tube patterns and surrounding the core layer; and an outer cladding layer surrounding the micro-structured cladding layer.
