Abstract:
This home monitoring system S of age-related macular degeneration comprises: a home OCT 10 being an optical interference tomograph meter that is arranged in a home of a subject to image a macula part region of an eye ball of the subject; a mobile terminal 20 in which a dedicated application is installed, the mobile terminal 20 being connected with the home OCT 10 via a local network to acquire image data of the macula part region of the eye ball of the subject; a cloud server 30 that is connected with the mobile terminal 20 via a wide area network to automatically determine a progress state of age-related macular degeneration on the basis of the image data having been acquired via the mobile terminal 20; and a terminal apparatus 40 that transmits, to the cloud server 30, at least an imaging condition of the home OCT 10 for the subject by a doctor. This configuration enables early or timely detection of reoccurrence without requiring heavy burden on a subject of age-related macular degeneration, while the subject is at the home.
