Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a honeycomb catalyst in which a precious metal is supported on a honeycomb structure in which a plurality of through-holes are arranged in the lengthwise direction and separated by a partition, the honeycomb catalyst being characterized in that: the honeycomb structure contains a ceria-zirconia composite oxide and alumina; and the cerium concentration on the surface of the partition is lower than the cerium concentration in the center of the partition in the thickness direction thereof.
