Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is providing a honeycomb shaped porous ceramic body, a manufacturing method for the same, and a honeycomb shaped ceramic separation membrane structure in which the reduction in strength of the separation layer after forming the same is less than the conventional. A honeycomb shaped porous ceramic body (9) is provided with a honeycomb shaped base material (30) and an intermediate layer. At least one part of the intermediate layer of the honeycomb shaped porous ceramic body (9) has a structure in which aggregate particles are bound to each other by an inorganic binder component. The inorganic binder component is titania.
