Abstract:
Provided is a honeycomb substrate holder for holding a honeycomb substrate, the honeycomb substrate holder comprising: an elastically deformable cylindrical inner circumferential wall 10; a cylindrical outer circumferential wall 30 located outside the cylindrical inner circumferential wall 10 with a cylindrical gap 20 from the cylindrical inner circumferential wall 10; and two end faces 41, 42 sealing the cylindrical gap 20 together with the cylindrical inner circumferential wall 10 and the cylindrical outer circumferential wall 30. A honeycomb substrate can be inserted on the axial side of the cylindrical inner circumferential wall 10. Fluid can be circulated or held in the cylindrical gap 20. The cylindrical inner circumferential wall 10 can be elastically deformed and pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the honeycomb substrate by pressurizing the fluid in the cylindrical gap 20.
