Abstract:
A terahertz device (10) is provided with: a support substrate (20); a terahertz element (50) that is mounted to the support substrate (20) and that emits an electromagnetic wave in a terahertz band; and a reflection body (40) that is disposed on the opposite side to an element rear surface (52) with respect to an element main surface (51) in a z direction and at an interval in the z direction from the element main surface (51) and that has a reflection surface (47a) for reflecting, in a direction crossing the z direction, an electromagnetic wave emitted in the z direction by the terahertz element (50).
