Abstract:

Provided are a hook block and a rope hoist in which the center of gravity during a suspended state can be lowered and/or the weight can be reduced. A hook block (70) suspended by a wire rope (W) and provided with: sheave shaft parts (73) for rotatably supporting hook sheaves (71); a connecting shaft (72) inserted into shaft holes (73a) that penetrate the sheave shaft parts (73) in the axial direction; brackets (75) which support the sheave shaft parts (73) by fitting the same in engaging holes (75a1) in first piece parts (75a), which are provided with second piece parts (75b) substantially orthogonal to the first piece parts (75a), and in which insertion holes (75b2) are formed, the insertion holes (75b2) enabling the insertion of the upper side of a hook (76) in a mutually facing arrangement; a bracket-fixing member (77) supported by the second piece parts (75b) above the second piece parts (75b); and a hook support member (78) rotatably arranged above the bracket-fixing member (77) and fixed to the outer periphery of the upper side of the hook (76).
