Abstract:
A hook-and-loop fastener (1) of the present invention includes a base part (10) and a plurality of engaging elements (20), the base part (10) and the engaging elements (20) contain a thermoplastic resin including, at least partially, a plant-derived resin, the plant-derived resin has an MFR of 5 g/10 min to 30 g/10 min and a flexural modulus of 800 MPa to 2300 MPa, and an engaging head (23) has such a shape that at least a portion of the engaging head (23) protrudes outward from the upper edge of a stem portion (22) in a plan view of the engaging elements (20). This arrangement allows the hook-and-loop fastener (1) to have a plurality of engaging elements (20) that can engage with loop members or the like. This arrangement also enables a reduction in use of fossil resource-derived resins compared to the related art, thereby reducing the load on the environment.
