Abstract:
The invention concerns a hopper (1) for processing pieces (17) such as currency coins comprising an intake part (2) for coins from a payment terminal and an evacuating part (3) transmitting the coins to a pneumatic conveyor installation after treatment by means of a rotating recessed plate. The invention is characterised in that the hopper (1) comprises sealing means between the intake part (2) and the evacuation part (3). The invention is useful for transporting cash and particularly for transporting currency coins.
