Abstract:
A horizontal axis wind turbine blade fatigue load reduction device and method. The device comprises a blade fatigue load reduction device body (3); the blade fatigue load reduction device body is mounted between a blade root flange (2) and a pitch bearing flange (4); the fatigue load reduction device body comprises a housing structure and slider restoring force systems; multiple groups of slider restoring force systems are uniformly arranged in the housing structure and between two adjacent connection bolts along the circumferential direction of an end surface; each slider restoring force system consists of a slider (303) and a restoring force providing assembly (305); each slider is separately connected to the sidewall of the housing structure by means of the restoring force providing assembly; the top inner surface of the housing structure is in contact with the upper surface of the slider; and the bottom inner surface of the housing structure is in contact with the lower surface of the slider. The research and development of the device can be independently realized without involving the design links of the whole device and blades, and the mounting of the device does not relate to a blade production link, and does not affect the safety of the blade itself.
