Abstract:
The present application provides a mobility measurement method and apparatus, being helpful for solving the problem in the prior art of the effectiveness of the mobility measurement of a terminal device. The method comprises: a network device transmits a message to a terminal device, the message comprising a plurality of sets of measurement configuration information; and according to the current position and/or the current time, the terminal device uses one of a plurality of sets of measurement configuration from the network device for mobility measurement. By means of the method, the effectiveness of mobility measurement is improved, thereby facilitating the terminal device obtaining better service.
