Abstract:
The disclosed device control method is constituted so that a host device acquires correspondence information for associating a device identifier for identifying a device and a pseudo destination indicating a virtual destination published to an application operating upon the host device or upon a host device of the first-mentioned host device, the first-mentioned host device acquires the device identifier from a device connected to a port, and if the acquired device identifier is included in the correspondence information, the first-mentioned host device connects the port from which the device identifier was obtained to the pseudo destination associated with the device identifier in the correspondence information.
