Abstract:
A hot-rolled steel strip annealing method is provided that can control with high accuracy the steel strip temperature on the heating zone exit side, and more specifically, the steel strip temperature on the soaking furnace exit side, in the hot-rolled sheet annealing of a hot-rolled steel strip. In this hot-rolled steel strip annealing method that uses annealing equipment comprising a heating zone, a soaking zone and a cooling zone arranged in that order from upstream, to anneal a hot-rolled steel strip containing 1.6-5.0 mass% Si for use as an electromagnetic steel plate, a plate thickness gauge and a rapid heating device are arranged upstream of the soaking zone, and the heating temperature of the steel strip, heated by the rapid heating device, is determined from the LSD value defined by expression (1) below by the thickness of the steel strip measured by the plate thickness gauge and the feeding speed of the steel strip during annealing.
