Abstract:
A housing (11) comprises: a housing body (20); and a lock mechanism (23) that is provided in the housing body (20) and engages and locks a lock protrusion (74) of a mating housing (71). The lock mechanism (23) is equipped with: a cantilevered lock arm (40) that extends toward the front in the housing body (20) in the direction of mating with the mating housing (71), and has at the leading end thereof an engaging part (45) that engages the lock protrusion (74); and a pair of operating arms (50) continuous with both sides of the engaging part (45) of the lock arm (40) and extending rearward in the mating direction, the ends of the operating arms being connected to each other to form an operating part (51). The lock arm (40) has a movement restriction protrusion (46) at a position facing the operating part (51). The operating part (51) abuts on the movement restriction protrusion (46) and is restricted from moving forward in the mating direction.
