Abstract:
This housing member is provided with: a case member (50); and a cover member (100) that has an insertion part (101) which projects to the side of the case member so as to be inserted into a seal groove (80). A housing space for housing a protective member is formed when the case member (50) and the cover member (100) are assembled. A housing space-side inner groove surface (55) of a peripheral wall part (51) and the external space-side inner groove surface (54) of the peripheral wall part are parallel to the direction in which the insertion part (101) is inserted into the seal groove (80). A first distance (d1) that is the inter-surface distance between an external space-side surface (103) and the external space-side inner groove surface (54) opposed thereto is larger than a second distance (d2) that is the inter-surface distance between the housing space-side inner groove surface (55) and a housing surface-side surface (105) which is opposed thereto, which is located on the housing space side of the insertion part (101), and which extends parallel to the direction in which the insertion part (101) is inserted.
