Abstract:
In order to measure an object (1) using a terahertz wave measuring device, a housing (10) accommodates at least a part of the object (1) to be measured. The housing (10) is provided with a hollow portion (11) in which at least the part of the object (1) to be measured is disposed and an encircling portion (12) that has a first flat portion (S1) and a second flat portion (S2) between which the hollow portion (11) is disposed and that encircles the hollow portion (11). Furthermore, n1 - 0.1 ≤ n2 ≤ n1 + 0.1 is satisfied when the refractive index of the encircling portion is defined as n2 and that of the object to be measured is defined as n1. In addition, the first flat portion (S1) is orthogonal to a direction along which terahertz waves travel.
