Abstract:
A humidity sensor (1) comprises a first electrode (E1) that is electrically connected to a first terminal (T1), and a humidity-sensitive member (2). The first electrode (E1) includes a first internal electrode part (E1A). The first internal electrode part (E1A) has a first main surface covered by the humidity-sensitive member (2), and a second main surface covered by the humidity-sensitive member. The humidity sensor (1) preferably also comprises a second electrode (E2) that is electrically connected to a second terminal (T2). The second electrode (E2) includes a second internal electrode part (E2A). The second internal electrode part (E2A) has a third main surface covered by the humidity-sensitive member (2), and a fourth main surface covered by the humidity-sensitive member (2). The first internal electrode part (E1A) includes a facing portion that sandwiches the humidity-sensitive member (2) together with at least part of the second internal electrode part (E2A). There is thereby provided a humidity sensor having improved sensitivity.
