Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle (100) is constructed so that it can travel by using fuel and electric
power as energy sources. A charger (24) receives electric power from an external
power source connected to a charge socket (104) and charges an electricity storage
device (16). An ECU (26) calculates both the distance of travel per unit amount
of electric power fed from the external power source by the charger (24) and the
distance of travel per unit amount of fuel consumed by an engine (2). An informing
section (28) informs a user of each distance of travel calculated by the ECU (26).
