Abstract:
A hydrocarbon synthesis reactor in which a hydrocarbon compound is synthesized by the chemical reaction of synthesis gas comprising hydrogen and carbon monoxide as major components with a slurry obtained by suspending solid catalyst particles in a liquid.  The hydrocarbon synthesis reactor comprises: a reaction vessel which holds the slurry therein; a synthesis-gas introduction part which introduces the synthesis gas into the reaction vessel; and a synthesis-gas heating part which has been disposed in the synthesis-gas introduction part and with which the synthesis gas to be introduced into the reaction vessel is heated to or above the decomposition temperature of a carbonyl compound.
