Abstract:
This hydrogen generation device comprises: a reformer (1) which generates hydrogen-containing gas by a reforming reaction; a combustor (2) which heats the reformer (1); an air supplier (3) which supplies air to the combustor (2); a fuel supplier (4) which supplies fuel to the combustor (2); a CO detector (5) which detects the carbon monoxide concentration in exhaust gas discharged from the combustor (2); and a controller (10) which controls at least one of the air supplier (3) and the fuel supplier (4) to increase the air ratio in the combustor (2) so that the CO concentration in the exhaust gas is increased, then inspects the CO detector (5) for abnormalities.
