Abstract:
A hydrogen generator (200) which is provided with: a reformer (31); a starting material gas supply device (34) for supplying a starting material gas to the reformer (31); and a combustor for heating the reformer (31). The hydrogen generator (200) is also provided with: a combustion air supply device (36) for supplying an air for combustion to the combustor; a combustion state detector for detecting the combustion state of the combustor; and a controller (39) for controlling on the basis of a control parameter. The controller (39) is configured to set a control parameter on the basis of the value detected by the combustion state detector when the ratio of the supply amount of the air for combustion to the combustor by the combustion air supply device (36) relative to the supply amount of the starting material gas by the starting material gas supply device (34) is changed in a state where the reformer (31) is heated by the combustor.
