Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a means whereby hydrogen can be separated/extracted more efficiently. [Solution] The present invention has a raw material supply pipe 13 which is a supply path for supplying a raw material gas that includes hydrogen, a hydrogen separation membrane 30 formed from pure vanadium, a transmitted-gas extraction path 26b which is a recovery path in which hydrogen transmitted through the hydrogen separation membrane 30 is recovered, and a pressure adjustment means 40 for adjusting the pressure when the raw material gas contacts the hydrogen separation membrane 30, the area of contact of the hydrogen separation membrane 30 with the raw material gas being 1000 cm2 or less.
