Abstract:
Disclosed is a hydrophobically modified albumin, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. The hydrophobically modified albumin is obtained by introducing a hydrophobic group to the site of a radical sulfhydryl group of albumin. The hydrophobically modified albumin can be used as a carrier for encapsulating poorly water-soluble drugs or cosmetic active substances. A carrier composition comprising the hydrophobically modified albumin, a drug or cosmetic composition comprising the hydrophobically modified albumin or the carrier composition, and a modifier for preparing the hydrophobically modified albumin are also disclosed.
