Abstract:
The present invention provides a technique for preventing the occurrence of wire breakage and other damage in an antenna caused by bending in an IC tag in which an IC chip is protected by a reinforcing member. An IC tag according to one aspect of the present invention is capable of being attached to an article, wherein the IC tag is provided with an inlay provided with an IC chip and an antenna electrically connected to the IC chip, at least one reinforcing member disposed on at least one surface of the inlay so as to protect the IC chip, and at least one sheet-shaped cover member for covering the reinforcing member, the cover member being disposed on at least one surface side of the inlay, and the cover member being not bonded in a region around the reinforcing member and being bonded to the inlay and/or the reinforcing member in other regions.
