Abstract:
This illuminance measurement device is configured such that a semispherical in-vehicle environment simulation cover (5) is constructed with a material that does not transmit incident light, and areas (5a) of the cover that correspond to the positions of vehicle windows as determined with reference to the eye position of a driver are cut out. Consequently, illuminance of incident light on the driver's eyes can be accurately measured even when the illuminance measurement device is installed at a different position from the eye position of the driver.
