Abstract:

An illumination device for an image sensor according to the present disclosure comprises: at least one light guide body provided in a primary scanning direction; and a first light source group disposed facing a first end surface and a second light source group disposed facing a second end surface among at least two end surfaces in the primary scanning direction of said at least one light guide body, wherein the first light source group includes a first light source which emits light of a predetermined wavelength band, the second light source group includes a second light source which emits light of the same wavelength band as the light emitted by the first light source, and in a state in which said at least one light guide body is viewed in the primary scanning direction from the first end surface side, the absolute value of the X coordinate in a corresponding XY coordinate system of the first light source is equal to the absolute value of the X coordinate in a corresponding XY coordinate system of the second light source.
