Abstract:
An image acquisition apparatus comprises a splitting unit configured to split an optical path from an optical system; a plurality of imaging units configured to respectively have light receiving surfaces; a control unit configured to perform a first process and a second process; and a changing unit configured to change spacing among a plurality of reference planes of the plurality of imaging units. The changing unit changes the spacing among the reference planes between a case where the imaging units capture images for the first process and a case where the imaging units capture images for the second process.
