Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is an effect that it is possible, despite aggregation of a CBC sample, to automatically count platelets on the basis of a sample image of a slide sample. Accordingly, in particular, an embodiment of the present invention includes an image-based method for counting platelets, the method comprising: a sample preparation step (S10) for preparing a slide sample on the basis of a complete blood cell count (CBC) sample; an image capturing step (S20) for capturing a sample image of the prepared slide sample; a detection step (S30) for detecting, on the basis of the captured sample image, single platelets existing as singles or platelet aggregates of two or more clumped platelets; and a platelet counting step (S40) for counting single platelets and individual platelets distributed in the platelet aggregates.
