Abstract:
The present invention relates to an image-based wireless positioning method and device, in which: one pixel value is generated from an ID of at least one fixed node and an intensity of at least one signal received from the fixed node; a moving path image of a moving node is generated by expressing a reception point of the at least one signal by using a pixel having the pixel value; and a position of the moving node is estimated on the basis of comparison of the moving path image with a map image for a region in which the moving node is positioned, so that it is possible to improve positioning accuracy in a large space, such as a square, or at a branch point where a road is split into several branches, while improving calculation efficiency of a wireless positioning algorithm.
