Abstract:
Provided is an image capture device which generates a pulse signal using a photoelectric conversion operation. A data potential generated by means of a photoelectric conversion operation is input to a pulse generation circuit to output a pulse signal having a spike waveform. A configuration for performing product-sum operation on the pulse signal is provided to generate digital data from a new pulse signal. The digital data are loaded into a neural network and the like, whereby processing such as image recognition can be performed. The process of loading a large volume of image data into the neural network and the like can be performed in the image capture device, so that efficient processing can be performed.
