Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to improve the robustness of an image capturing device that performs image recognition. This image capturing device is provided with a control unit and a flicker component extracting unit. In the image capturing device equipped with the control unit and the flicker component extracting unit, the control unit causes pixels to be exposed sequentially over each of a plurality of exposure periods having the same length, to generate a plurality of pixel signals. Further, in the image capturing device equipped with the control unit and the flicker component extracting unit, the flicker component extracting unit extracts a flicker component that flashes with a period corresponding to the length from the plurality of pixel signals.
