Abstract:
A flexible substrate according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with an insulating substrate, a plurality of electrical elements, a plurality of pieces of wiring, and a protective layer. The insulating substrate includes a plurality of flat plate sections arranged side by side in a first direction and a second direction and a plurality of hinges for bendably connecting adjacent flat plate sections. The plurality of electrical elements are arranged on each of the flat plate sections. The plurality of pieces of wiring pass through the flat plate sections and the hinges and are connected to each of the electrical elements. The protective layer covers the insulating substrate, the plurality of electrical elements, and the plurality of pieces of wiring. In addition, flat plate sections adjacent in the first direction are inclined with respect to each other, and flat plate sections adjacent in the second direction are inclined with respect to each other.
