Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to guarantee, with respect to transmission of a coding method, decoding of information coded by intra-frame predict coding using vector information. An image coding device derives an error between information of a segmented image which is an object of predict coding and predict information, carrying out predict coding, and generates a data stream, according to the process series of the predict coding, wherein information which identifies the predict method and information which is predict coded by the method is arrayed for each process for the information of the segmented image. In such a circumstance, if the predict method is intra-frame predict coding using vectors, the data stream comprises pairs of vector information and the information of the error as the predict coded information for each process for the information of the segmented image.
