Provided are an image content display system and an image content display method which manage the authentication information and level of a subscriber, and the copyright and quality of an image content. The image content display system and the image content display method include positioning information in the authentication information of a subscriber, and once a subscriber is authenticated by means of a content server, the authentication level of the subscriber is assessed by means of a subscriber authentication server. Subsequently, the content server verifies that the authentication level of a user does not surpass the authentication level corresponding to the quality of the requested image content. Then, the quality of the image content which can be delivered to the subscriber is assessed by means of a copyright management server, and the image content which meets the requested quality is delivered to the subscriber from the content server.
