Abstract:
An image decoding device includes a plurality of decoders. The device divides image
data to be decoded into a plurality of partial data, acquires attribute information
on the attribute of the partial data which affects a decoding time of the partial
data, decides a decoder to be used for decoding the partial data according to the
attribute information on the partial data, and causes two or more decoders decided
by the decision means to decode two or more partial data in parallel.
