Abstract:
According to the present invention, a target image is caused to deform so that the subject in a reference image and the subject in the target image coincide. Each of the reference image and the target image (11) is divided into regions according to the optical distortion amount. A common region (10) of the target image (11) that is common to the reference image and the target image (11) is subdivided into regions (S35-37, S38-40, S42-44) in which it is possible to obtain both the optical distortion amount of the reference image and the optical distortion amount of the target image (11). Using the optical distortion amount of the reference image and the optical distortion amount of the target image (11) obtained from the subdivided regions (S35-37, S38-40, S42-44), the target image (11) is caused to deform so that the subject in the common region (10) coincides with the reference image.
