Abstract:
An image display apparatus (1) is provided with: an image display unit (6), which displays an image; ROM (8), which stores, by each user, set information relating to the image display unit (6); an image photographing unit (3), which generates image data on the basis of signals of an image picked up by means of a camera (2); an image analyzing unit (5), which extracts an identifying image from the image data generated by means of the image photographing unit (3), said identifying image having recorded therein personal information that specifies a user, and which reads out the personal information from the extracted identifying image; and a control unit (4), which reads out, from the ROM (8), the set information that corresponds to the user from the personal information that has been read out by means of the image analyzing unit (5), and on the basis of the set information thus read out, which controls display to be performed by means of the image display unit (6).
