Abstract:
An image display device (10) is provided with: a display panel (102) on which an image is displayed; and a component mounting substrate (109) on which a component (191) serving as a light source for illuminating the display panel (102) from the backside is connected to a conductor layer (192), wherein the component (191) is provided with a positive electrode (182), a negative electrode (181), and an exposed live part (183), and the conductor layer (192) is provided with an insulating gap (193) which is disposed between the positive electrode (182) and the negative electrode (181), and a recessed part which is a pit positioned on lateral sides of the electrodes that are connected across the insulating gap (193) and positioned near the exposed section of the live part (183).
