Abstract:
An image encoding device (1) is provided with an image encoding unit (12) which encodes an input image, an image decoding unit (13) which decodes the encoded image to acquire a decoded image, a pattern image generation unit (14) which generates, from the decoded image, a pattern image in which image features are represented by pattern information, a correction information generation unit (15) which generates correction information from the difference between the input image and decoded image, a LUT generation unit (16) which generates a lookup table (LUT) in which the correction information is associated with the pattern information of the pattern image, and a LUT encoding unit (17) which encodes the LUT. Due to this, noise generated in encoding processing is favorably removed, and high quality images are restored.
