Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image formation device that allows both a detachable-type cartridge and an integrated-type cartridge to be detachably attached to a main housing. An image formation device is provided with a main housing 2 that allows a first drum cartridge including a drum memory that has a first electrical contact surface and a first development cartridge including a development memory that has a second electrical contact surface to be mounted in a first direction along the rotary shaft of a photosensitive drum, or that allows a cartridge connected to a connection cover including a process memory that has a third electrical contact surface to be mounted in the first direction. The main housing 2 includes a first connector CN1 that comes in contact with the first electrical contact surface when the first drum cartridge is mounted on the main housing, and a second connector CN2 that comes in contact with the second electrical contact surface when the first development cartridge is mounted on the main housing 2. The third electrical contact surface comes in contact with the first connector CN1 when the cartridge connected to the connection cover is mounted on the main housing 2.
