Abstract:
[Problem] To allow for easy installation in a general household and to reliably prevent scams, nuisance calls, and the like. [Solution] The present invention is provided with: a connection/disconnection control means which, in response to an incoming call request from an outside line to a connected telephone set, switches between processes of accepting the incoming call, rejecting the incoming call, and recording the incoming call; a number storage means which stores a telephone number in a rewriteable form; a password storage means which stores a predetermined password; a counting means which counts the number of times of ringing tones of the incoming call from the outside line; a number writing control means which, when the ringing tones has been cut off after a predetermined number of times, stores the telephone number of a caller making the call into the number storage means before disconnecting the telephone; a password requesting means which, when the telephone number of the caller of the incoming call matches a telephone number stored in the number storage means, requests the caller of the incoming call to input a password; and a password collating means which, when the password input by the caller matches a password stored in the password storage means, causes the connection/disconnection control means to perform the process of accepting the incoming call.
