Abstract:
This multifunction device (1) is an image formation device, and comprises a communication unit (22), a storage unit (21), an empty area determination unit (25), a confidential document determination unit (26), and a save process unit (27). The communication unit (22) receives print data from a user terminal (23) via a network N. The storage unit (21) saves the print data received by the communication unit (22). The empty area determination unit (25) determines a condition wherein the storage unit (21) has an empty area for saving the print data as a first save condition. The confidential document determination unit (26) determines a condition wherein the print data is not a confidential document as a second save condition. In cases where the first save condition and the second save condition are satisfied, the save process unit (27) saves, in the storage unit (21), the print data in association with user information of the user terminal (23), whereas in cases where the first save condition or the second save condition is not satisfied, the save process unit makes the user terminal (23) save the print data by communicating with the user terminal (23).
