Abstract:
An image formation device (10) that comprises a holding member (40) that is to be held and a support part (60) that supports the holding member. The support part is provided to a case (29) of the image formation device and supports the holding member such that the holding member can slide between a first position in which the holding member is housed on the inside of a side surface of the case and a second position in which the holding member protrudes from the side surface to the outside and can be held. The holding member is supported by the support part so as to be capable of sliding substantially horizontally and has an upper holding part (41) and a lower holding part (42) that are separated in the vertical direction. The image formation device comprises a restriction mechanism (68, 71C) that, when the holding member is in the second position, restricts the sliding of the upper holding part and the lower holding part into the first position when upward force has been applied to at least one of the upper holding part and the lower holding part.
