Abstract:
An image formation system (100) comprising: a printer (1), which is provided with a first housing (10) in which a first opening (11) and second openings (12) are formed in a top plate (13), and a securing member (20) that is arranged below the top plate (13) and is operated such that a first protruding part (21) protrudes from/retracts into the first opening (11), and second protruding parts (22) protrude from/retract into the second openings (12); and a scanner (50), which is provided with a second housing (60) that is placed on the first housing (10), a second carriage (52) capable of moving inside the second housing (60), a lock member (70) that engages the second carriage (52) and thereby restricts movement of the second carriage (52) and, when pushed upward by the first protruding part (21), disengages from the second carriage (52) and releases the restriction of the movement of the second carriage (52), and third openings (64) into which the second protruding parts (22) fit.
