Abstract:
This image forming device (1) comprises an image bearing body (50), an electrostatic charging unit (51), a developing unit (52), and a cleaning member (81). The image bearing body (50) includes filler particles (87). The electrostatic charging unit (51) electrostatically charges the image bearing body (50) by coming into contact with, or coming close to, the image bearing body (50), and causing proximity discharge with the image bearing body (50). The developing unit (52) supplies toner to the circumferential surface of the charged image bearing body (50). The cleaning member (81) has a hardness of 65° or greater and a rebound resilience of 30% or less. The cleaning member (81) is pressed in contact with the circumferential surface of the rotating image bearing body (50) at a linear pressure of 15 gf/cm or greater.
