Abstract:
An image forming device comprising a conductive base, a first compound supplying unit for supplying a self-coagulating compound to the surface of the base, a first current applying unit for applying current to the base to form a self-coagulating monomolecular film and thereby to produce an image forming body, a first eliminating unit for selectively eliminate at least part of the self-coagulating compound and for providing an eliminated surface and an uneliminated surface the wettabilities of which are different from each other on the image forming body, a developing unit for supplying ink to the surface of the image forming body, a transfer unit for transferring the ink adhering to the surface of the image forming body onto a recording medium.
